The largest hub in the Middle East is in Dubai. The Dubai International Airport is the base of operations of Dubai’s flagship carrier Emirates. This airport is a favorite among travelers for its duty free area. If you travel in an out of Dubai frequently then you may want to avail yourself of an e-gate card to facilitate speedy immigration procedures.
Traveling by car in Dubai requires that you have a driving license with you. The local license of your country of origin may do when renting a car but sometimes car rental companies ask an International Drivers license. When entering Dubai via its only International road which links it to Oman make sure that you have the necessary travel papers with you. When inside Dubai as you drive along the city streets and main roads, you will notice that the street numbers are not in order, they may be jumbled sometimes so do make sure to notice it. If you are touring the city then do not do it during the morning and peak hours at the afternoon since the traffic is going to be heavy.
